Patricia  Suttles
Patricia Fitzgerald Suttles, 81, of Greenwood, Indiana, formerly of Ashland, Ky., passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at her residence.
Patricia was born October 7, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio, a daughter of the late Joseph Paul and Helen Blenke Fitzgerald.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was also preceded in death by her husband Clay Suttles and infant son Timothy Andrew Suttles.
Patricia graduated from Holy Family High School and attended Grace Nazarene Church. She retired as a Teacher's Assistant from Summit Elementary and was the bookkeeper and business partner of her late husband's auto repair business, Clay Suttles Auto Repair. Patricia began her banking career at 2nd National Bank in Ashland, Ky., first as a teller and then moving to the bookkeeping department.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Catherine McCormick (Chuck) of Greenwood, Ind.; brothers James (Delilah) Fitzgerald of Ashland, Joseph (Beth) Fitzgerald of Wurtland, Ky.; sister Mary Ann Fitzgerald of Ashland; an adopted sister, Debbie Canter of Ashland; grandchildren Vanessa Lauren (Chris) Blake, Jared Craig (Andrea) McCormick of Greenwood, and Jacob Alexander McCormick of Okla.; great-grandchildren Gracelyn Blake, Jackson and Eli McCormick; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. We would also like to honor Sue, Maria, Ruth and Kaitlyn our four long-term caregivers that loved and cared for Patty and became part of our family.
A private graveside service will be held at the East Carter Memory Gardens in Grayson, Ky., with words of comfort spoken by her son-in-law Chuck McCormick.
No public visitation will be held due to the ongoing regulations pertaining to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.

So sorry to read of Patty’s passing. She was a precious lady and friend. I knew she and Clay well and worked with her at Second National all the years she was there. I know she is in heaven with our Lord and Savior. Prayers for this precious family at this time. Love and Prayers,
