Paul Alton Beach
Paul Alton Beach, 75, of Greenup, Ky., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 10, 2019, at his residence following an illness of several months.
Paul was born in Greenup, Kentucky, on August 2, 1944, the fourth of eight children to the late William Alton and Cora May (Pope) Beach.
He was a graduate of Greenup Independent High School. In 1967 he took a leave from his job at Ashland Oil to join the Army where he served in Vietnam. Upon his return from the military he went back to work at Ashland Oil, retiring with 30 years of service.
He was a faithful, member of Bolts Fork Baptist Church.
Paul was preceded in death in addition to his parents by a daughter, Angela Beach; a brother, William R. "Bill" Beach; two sisters, Mary Frances Thompson and Georgetta Asberry and great grandson, Kaden Boyd.
He leaves to cherish his memory two children, Leslie Beach of Enterprise, Ala., and Timothy Craig Beach and his wife Anne of Dothan, Ala.; a step daughter, Charlotte Windom of Auburn Ala.; grandchildren, Devin Beach, Matthew Melton, Kalia Melton, all of Montgomery Ala., Brooklyn Siders of Worthington, Ky., and Khaylon Windom of Enterprise Ala.; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Michael Beach of Greenup and Mark Beach of Russell; two loving and devoted sisters Brenda Troxler and her husband George, and Ida Worsley of Greenup; special friends, Brooks Jackson, Pam Stergeon, Darren and Kelly Plummer; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be 12 Noon Friday, November 15, 2019, at Wright's Funeral Home in Greenup, Ky.
Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, Ky.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. Thursday, and 1 hour before the funeral Friday at the funeral home.

Paul was a good man. He taught me a lot at Ashland oil. I will not forget him. RIP
