Paul Randall "Randy" Wheeler, 56, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, at Holzer Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 9, 1960, in Ashland, a son of Melvin and Linda Meeks Wheeler of Bidwell, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Orin Douglas "Doug" Wheeler; paternal grandparents, Orin and Marjorie Wheeler; maternal grandparents, Paul and Mary Meeks; one aunt, Karen Clay; and one uncle, Gene Meeks.
HRandy was a 1978 graduate of Kyger Creek High School.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one uncle, James Robert (Jean) Wheeler of Dry Ridge; two aunts, Mary Sue Meeks Patrick of Deering, Ohio and Idell Meeks of Ashland; and 10 cousins, Jeannie Saunders, Steve Clay, Rene` Allen, Danette McCabe, Kevin Patrick, Joe Patrick, Kelli Adanick, Dee Dee Case, Tammy Nelson and Melissa Bradley.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Sally Saunders Barnette for her love and support.
A joint memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at Willis Funeral Home in Gallipolis for him and his brother, Orin Douglas Wheeler, who passed away Jan 25, 2016.
