Rebecca Jayne Hieneman
REBECCA JAYNE (BECKI) HANKINS HIENEMAN, 38, of Ironton, Ohio, stepped into heaven on Friday, October 11, 2019.
The Lawrence County, Ohio, native was born August 12, 1981, a daughter of Roger and Debra McClaskey Hankins of Ironton, Ohio
She is also survived by her husband, Charles Christopher Hieneman who she married September 21, 2001.
Becki was a 1999 graduate of Dawson Bryant High School (Coal Grove), ACTC in Ashland, Ky., and had received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN). She was currently working as an R.N. for Kings Daughter Medical Center where she loved to help families with the delivery of their babies. She loved her patients and they loved her. Anyone could call her if they needed advice and she was always happy to help when she could. She was a light and a ray of sunshine to whoever she met and she will be missed very much.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Raymond Hankins, and maternal grandparents, Clifford and Mary Jane Horn McClaskey; uncle, Ronald Hankins; aunt, Joan Estep; and her sister-in-law, Missy Hieneman.
In addition to her husband and parents, Becki is survived by her children, Landon Christopher Hieneman and Debra Madilyn Rene Hieneman; paternal grandmother, Jerri Hackworth Hankins; two brothers, Kristopher Lee (Devonda) Hankins and Jeremy Shayne (Gina) Hankins; six nephews, Curtis (Brooke) Hankins and their son Miles, Garrett Hankins, Wade Hankins, Tristan (Sarah) Hankins, Ethen (Cheyenne) Hankins and Isaac Hankins; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Linda Smith Hieneman of Greenup, Ky.; and her maternal grandfather-in-law, Dean Smith. She was also very close with her first cousin, Josh (Shaine) Estep, as they were raised together like brother and sister.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South 7th Street, Ironton, Ohio 45638 with Rev. Larry Comer officiating. Burial will follow in Hieneman Cemetery in Greenup County, Ky. Public visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Becki's family requests donations in her memory be made to the KDMC Pregnancy and Infant Loss Fund, C/O Kathy Whitt, Bereavement Care Nurse, 2301 Lexington Ave., Ashland, Ky. 41139. I am beyond saddened to hear about Becky's passing. I grew up with her and she lived across the street from my mom and dad for years. She was such a wonderful person and always happy and smiling. I pray for some sort of comfort for her family and children.
