Robert Thomas Anders, 55, of Ironton, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 24, 2020, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Ironton Campus.

Robert was born January 23, 1965, a son to the late Robert Perrian Anders and Diane Eva Tindall Anders of Ashland, Kentucky.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Kimberly "Kim" Yates Anders.

Robert attended Paul G. Blazer High School where he loved to play basketball and had a passion for music from a young age. He was a former Telecom Field Technician, but Robert's true love was playing the drums and singing backup vocals for the band "The Whipps".

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Jessica Cox Wallace of Ironton; two sons, Ryan Yates of Ironton and Nathan (Riley) Yates of Ashland, Ky.; brother, Dirk Perron Anders of Ironton; two sisters, Mary Allison Anders and Luanna Anders both of Los Angeles, California; and three grandchildren, Hailey, Mollie, and Raiden Yates.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2020, at Tracy Brammer-Monroe Home, 518 South Sixth Street, Ironton, Ohio with Pastor Matthew Earls officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashland, Kentucky. Visitation will be Friday, 11 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
