Roger  Cook
Roger Dale Cook, 74, of Ashland, passed away Tuesday evening at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
Roger was born March 30, 1945, in Boyd County, Ky., a son of the late William Hager and Patricia Vance Cook.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his daughter Christal Cook, his sister Joyce Gillum, and a great grandson.
Roger attended Beech Street Christian Church in Ashland. He was a mason of the Fred Gross Masonic Lodge 953 Westwood F&AM;.
He retired after many years of service from the AK Steel Coke Plant as a heavy equipment operator.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Jonna Mowery Cook of Ashland; son Jeff (Renae) Knipp of Ashland; brother Ronnie (Sue) Cook of Kokomo, Ind.; sister Darlene (Michael) Marshall of Rush, Ky.; two grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and good friends.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019, at the Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel by Dale Queen. Masonic services to be held at 12:45 p.m. prior to the service.
Visitation will be starting at 12:30 p.m. at the chapel.

I knew Roger since the Cemenr Solvey days. He always had a smile and a kind attire. So sorry for you loss. God be with you during this time of loss. Prayers πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
