Ashland, Kentucky - Susan Kosakowski, 67, of Ashland, KY passed away at her residence on January 3, 2026. She was born March 6, 1958 in Ashland, KY to her mother; Bettye McGinnis Parsons and her late father; Kenneth Parsons. She was preceded in death by her husband; Robert Kosakowski.
Susan is retired in 2025 from the Boyd County Sheriff Department after more than 20 years.
Susan is survived by her children; Adrienne (Brad) Layman of Proctorville, OH, Nikolaus Kosakowski of Buckeye, AZ, Alekzander Kosakowski of Chapel Hill, NC and John (Angela) Parsons.
There will be a memorial service from 4:00pm-6:00pm, Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, Memorial donations can be made in honor of Susan to your local animal rescue.
