Ashland, Ky - Wanda Blevins Copley, 82, of Ashland, Kentucky, and Vero Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Brennity Memory Care in Vero Beach.

Born on January 28, 1943, in Ashland, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Oma Burton Blevins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul, Edward, and Tom Blevins; and her sisters, Rita Blackburn, Willa Vean McCalvin, Jo Ann Miller, and Glenna LeBeau.

Wanda was a graduate of Boyd County High School and earned her Registered Nursing degree from King's Daughters School of Nursing. She and her husband co-owned and operated Copley's Wholesale Showroom and Ashland Specialty Company for many years. Wanda was known for her creativity and loved crafting, arranging flowers, and traveling. She also had a deep love for animals.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Gobel Copley, Jr.; her son, Gobel "Bud" Copley III and his wife, Judy; her daughter, Rhonda Copley; and one grandson, Hunter Copley. Wanda is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Steen Funeral Home - 13th Street Chapel. A funeral service celebrating Wanda's life will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home, with James Blevins and Scott Blevins officiating. Burial will follow at Kirby Flats Cemetery.
