William "Bill" Fannin, 69, of Worthington, KY, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.

Mr. Fannin was born December 6, 1951 in Ironton, OH, a son of the late Elba Fannin and Geneva Shope Fannin. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Jean Manifold and two brothers, James Worthington and Jerry Worthington.

Mr. Fannin worked for many years as a Carman for CSX Railroad before retiring. He was also a Fireman for thirty-seven years at the Worthington Fire Department. During his free time Mr. Fannin loved to go hunting, fishing, play golf and play bluegrass.

Surviving Mr. Fannin is his loving wife, Greathel Scites Fannin; his daughter, Betty Ann Fannin; his two sons, William (Tiff) Fannin and Gary (Charon) Fannin; his sister, Nancy Chandler; eight grandchildren, Parker Fannin, Carly Rae Fannin, Dakota Fannin, Gabby Fannin, Asher Fannin, Tayler Sparks, Kirsten McGinnis, Domique Dali and two great grandchildren, Brantley McGinnis and Raylan McGinnis.

A funeral service for William "Bill" Fannin will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 2:00pm at Evans Funeral Home in Raceland, KY with Dr. Tommy Melvin officiating. Burial will follow at the Fannin Cemetery on Uhlen Branch in Greenup, KY. The visitation will be on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the funeral home.
